PET Project - A study on disposable plastic waste

According to the Ellen MacArthur Foundation it is expected by 2050, plastic waste in the ocean will outweigh all fish life. The United Nations warns that marine life will be irreparably destroyed.

PET Project describes the connection between the disposal of localised PET bottles within the context of a globalised plastic waste crisis.

Plastic PET bottles that are washed up along a specific stretch of Darebin Creek, Reservoir, Australia are collected, photographed and weighed.

PET Project is an ongoing work, started mid-2024.
